BridgeComm Appoints Mike Mabry as New Technical Program Director
Former Lockheed Martin chief engineer joins optical wireless communications pioneer to lead global expansion in the commercial and government sectors
DENVER (May 07, 2020)—BridgeComm, Inc., a leader in optical wireless communications (OWC) solutions and services, today announced that Mike Mabry has joined the company as technical program director. Bringing over two decades of expertise in the system design and application of communications and multi-node interoperability technologies, Mike will help BridgeComm respond to the growing demand for its OWC solutions in both the commercial and government sectors.

Mike launched his career in the US Air Force as a communications engineer and has worked through several companies including ARINC—a major provider of transport communications and systems engineering solutions in aviation, airports, defense, government, healthcare, networks, security and transportation—before joining Lockheed Martin. Over a span of 15 years, he served in key positions including: chief architect and systems engineer; airborne reconnaissance program chief engineer and architect; and principal engineer and R&D principal investigator. In addition to leading two major R&D initiatives to advance a broad range of airborne and ground multi-intelligence capabilities touching all aspects of the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination cycle, he conducted exploratory engineering and concept development for new intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) business opportunities.
